Expur wins $112M in new financing for Romanian oilseed, biodiesel production

In Romania, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has awarded biodiesel producer Expur with a $112 million syndicated financing package to help the company expand its operations by upgrading its crushing plant and adding additional working capital. Currently it produces and crushes rapeseed and sunflower to producer crude oil, edible oil and biodiesel. The company was recently acquired by France’s Saipol.
