White Nile Sugar signs construction contract for Sudan ethanol projects

In Sudan, White Nile Sugar has assigned its construction contracts for two ethanol projects to China CAMC Engineering. The plants are expected to commence production in April 2012 using sugar cane as a feedstock. The project will also produce animal feed, and will have a capacity of 12.2 million gallons per year of ethanol and 100,000 tonnes of animal feed.
