Clean Energy Capital to produce power, bioheat, ethanol from $575M California sugarcane project

In California, Clean Energy Capital is moving closer to its goal to develop a $575 million investment in sugarcane-to-ethanol in the Imperial Valley. The project will produce 66 million gallons of ethanol, biomethane to heat 10,000 homes, electricity to run 35,000 homes and will use sweet sorghum as a supplement to cane as a feedstock.
