GreenGold signals land grab as EU mandates hit

November 12, 2010 |

In Texas, GreenGold Ray Energies announced today that due to the increase target by the European Union of 10% of fuel sold at the pump be bio-diesel by 2020, the company will expedite its land acquisition.

The current bio-diesel production does not meet the world demands and therefore, the company has decided to accelerate the working alliances, partnerships and acquisition of additional lands to cultivate and harvest Jatropha.  GreenGold  expects to add another 200,000 acres by 2012.  “We are not surprised by the announcements by the the EU to increase the use of bio-diesel as it is mostly the case everywhere,” said Manolo Tecson, CEO of GreenGold Ray Energies Inc.
