Renoval ethanol plant sold, scrapped

November 17, 2010 |

In Idaho, the would-be ethanol plant in Heyburn owned by Renoval Energy Idaho was auctioned off on Nov. 10 with items sold for scrap value while others fetched a higher price, like the centrifuges that sold at their original price. As only 10% of the plant’s equipment had been installed, yet 85% had been delivered, much of what was up for auction was still packed in crates. Only the anaerobic digester will be completed and operated at the site.
