CNOOC sells first jatropha biodiesel to Sinopec

In China, the China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) has sold its first batch of jatropha-based biodiesel to Hainan where it was blended into diesel sold at 12 Sinopec Corp. stations beginning Nov. 8., a year behind schedule. From Dec. 8 the blended diesel will also be available at stations run by PetroChina.
