Corn, ethanol futures dip on Euro debt, E15 worries

In Illinois, corn futures are falling as gasoline demand drops—indicating lower demand for ethanol as well. The most active contract has lost 11% in the past two weeks while gasoline markets remain nervous about the European debt crisis. Ethanol futures have also fallen thanks to the EPA’s delay in approving E15 for older model cars and China’s lower demand for corn.
