Jamaica unveils biofuels policy, targets sugarcane ethanol

In Jamaica, the government has unveiled its national biofuels policy through 2030 that will put a focus on sugarcane-based ethanol and co-generation as main energy sources for the island with a goal of cutting petroleum imports to only 30% of energy demand by 2030.
