Germany's EOP Biodiesel files for bankruptcy

In Germany, one of the country’s main biodiesel producers—EOP Biodiesel—has declared bankruptcy because it couldn’t come to terms with its banks. It stopped producing biodiesel in October when a gear unit at its oil mill became damaged, but had been producing up to 132,000 metric tons of biodiesel annually.
