Biofuels Digest Index rises to 77.27 on large cap uptick

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.23 percent to 77.27 as large caps moved ahead. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 0.43 percent to $30.35, while Bluefire Renewables (BFRE.OB) jumped 9.09 percent to $0.48 on new analyst coverage. Among other equities,  Rentech (RTK) was down 3.82 percent to $1.26 on an earnings miss. Overall, advances led declines 6 to 5 for the day.
