Biofuels Digest Index edges up 0.19 percent to 77.42

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.19 percent to 77.42 as ethanol and biodiesel stocks moved ahead. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 1.05 percent to $30.03, while Biofuels Enmergy (BIOF) jumped 10.97 percent to $1.72 on renewal of the ethanol tax credit. Among other equities, Origin Oil (OOIL.OB) jumped 11.76 percent to $0.19. Overall, advances led declines 4 to 3 for the day.
