Noble Group will acquire two Brazil sugarcane and ethanol plants

In Brazil, Noble Group announced that it will acquire the Catanduva and Potirendaba sugarcane and ethanol plants in Sao Paulo state, for $950 million. The two plants, with 8.0 million tonnes in crushing capacity, will bring Noble’s total capacity to 17.5 million tonnes. Catanduva has a crushing capacity of 4.6 million tonnes and Potirendaba crushes 3.4 million tones per annum. Cerradinho Holding is the seller.
