On the Move in Biofuels: Amyris, Verenium, CARB

In California, the California’s Air Resources Board (ARB) has appointed Christopher Frantz, a Principal at Endicott Biofuels, LLC (EBF), to its Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) advisory panel. Tony Newton has joined the Verenium team as an ethanol plants field technician.  Prior to joining Verenium, Newton spent over 10 years in engineering roles and as plant/area manager of various ethanol plants including Center Ethanol Company, Ace Ethanol and Tate and Lyle. Also in California, Amyris announced today that Jim Richardson has joined the company as Sr VP, vertical markets and sales operations, overseeing key target markets of cosmetics, lubricants, flavors and fragrances, polymers, consumer products, and transportation fuels.
