Solazyme says biofuels producers must "go well beyond their comfort zones" to survive, thrive

In Washington, Solazyme’s Jonathan Wolfson said at the Advanced Biofuesl Leadership Conference that his company began as a fuels-oriented company and continues to focus intensively on fuels, but added that “you need a business strategy that allows you to survive, thrive, as you are building up capacity,” and highlighted the company’s successes in anti-aging skin care products. “It may be a little uncomfortable to be here [at ABLC] talking about skin care products, but companies will have to go well beyond their comfort zones”.
