Iberia, AENA establish algal biojet R&D program at Madrid Airport

In Spain, Iberia has teamed with the national airports authority AENA to develop an algae-based biojet research program at the Madrid Barajas airport. National oil company Repsol will be responsible for processing the algae into fuel. The $890,000 facility is set to open next month.
