Biofuels Digest Index drops to 89.03 as global energy stocks wane

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.24 percent to 89.03 as energy stocks lost 2.8 percent on the S&P 500.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.43 percent to $30.26, while Gushan (GU) fell 15.69 percent to $2.15. Among other equities, Valero (VLO) fell 4.67 percent to $25.10. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
