Suncor doubles ethanol production capacity in Canada

In Canada, Suncor’s St. Clair ethanol plant reached its 1 billion liter production mark just shy of its 5-year anniversary and just three months after its expansion to 400,000 liters per day, double its previous size. Since April 2008, the company says there hasn’t been a single reportable safety infraction in more than 350,000 work hours.
