Biofuels Digest Index slumps to 87.14 as global equities sour

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slumped 1.69 percent to 87.14, in line with a 1.69 percent decline on NASDAQ as worries over a Greek debt default grew. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) shed 2.34 percent to $29.58, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIXD) lost 3.33 percent to $1.45. Among other equities, BP dropped 3.50 percent to $41.95. Declines led advances 23 to 1 for the day.
