German Biofuel reopens Falkenhagen biodiesel plant

In Germany, German Biofuel announced the reopening of a Falkenhagen biodiesel plant it purchased from former owner, EOP. With a total production capacity of 136,000 tons, the plant began with a test production of 1,000 tons of biodiesel from 3,000 tons of rapeseed.

The Company expects to receive much larger orders as the rapeseed harvest comes into full swing. All 56 employees from the former plant were retained by the new owners and recruitment of trainees will begin next year.
