Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 73.96 as global equities recover from Black Monday

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 4.82 percent to 73.96, 25 percent ahead of the recovery rate of the Dow Jones Industrials,  as global equities jumped following Black Monday.  For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 5.40 percent to $27.21, while Syntroleum (SYNM) soared 25.00 percent to $1.30 after strong earnings.  Among other equities, Dupont (DD) soared 6.01 percent to $46.71. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
