Neste has NExBTL renewable diesel, which it is producing at scale. Last October, Neste Oil and Stora Enso are seeking sites for a facility that would produce 200,000 metric tons per year of renewable diesel from wood waste using Neste’s NExBTL technology. The plan will develop its environmental impact assessment beginning in November with the plant built possibly as early as 2012. Neste has opened its 800,000 ton NExBTL plant in Singapore, and another one of the same size in Rotterdam this year.
