Biofuels Digest Index retreats to 75.26 despite Obama drama

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, retreated 1.90 percent to 75.26 despite a strong Obama Administration announcement in behalf of advanced biofuels. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 0.88 percent to $28.04, while Gevo (GEVO) fell 6.73 percent to $11.50.  Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell 3.37 percent to $20.10. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
