Biofuels Digest Index slips to 9-month low of 70.38

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 1.08 percent to a nine-month low of 70.38 as global equities continued to fall over recessionary fears. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) edged up 0.04 percent to $27.52, while Solazyme (SZYM) shed 2.87 percent to $13.89. Among other equities, OriginOil (OOILD.OB) fell 13.64 percent to $4.75. Overall, declines led advances 3 to 1 for the day.
