Global Petroleum to ship 200M gallons of ethanol in new rail operation

In Massachusetts, Global Petroleum Corp. will begin transporting ethanol to the state next via 60-car trains where every car will carry 26,000 gallons. Two trains per week will deliver nearly 3.6 million gallons to the company’s blending terminal in Revere from its depot in Albany, NY. State and local agencies are preparing new safety regulations to handle the new influx of ethanol by rail.
