BioSyn to launch $100M biodiesel operation in Nebraska

In Nebraska, BioSyn is planning to build a $100 million biodiesel production facility in Bellevue that will produce 6,500 barrels of fuel per day originally from animal fats and vegetable oils but will later switch to newer technology based on switchgrasses or other crops for biodiesel or ethanol. The project does not yet have EPA approval or all of its investors in place.
