Biofuels Digest swoons to 70.66 as the broad equities get roughed up

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, tanked 3.72 percent to 70.66 on a broad equities retreat. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 3.03 percent to $27.18, while KiOR (KIOR) slumped 6.39 percent to $18.47. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) plunged 6.62 percent to $11.15. Overall, declines led advances 23 to 1 for the day.
