Biofuels Digest Index slips to 66.44 on biodiesel, refining drops

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 0.85 percent to 66.44 as biodiesel and refining stocks dropped. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) slipped 0.16 percent to $25.45, while Solazyme (SZYM) lost 4.88 percent to $8.57. Among other equities, Mission NewEnergy (MNEL) fell 22.42 percent to $2.63. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 2 for the day.
