Amyris, ETH Bioeneergia team up for Brazilian biofene production

In Brazil, ETH Bioeneergia and Amyris signed an agreement to produce biofene in Brazil.  The joint venture being established will be able to access up to two million tons of sugarcane crush capacity per year at one of ETH’s greenfield mills in Brazil for renewable chemicals and fuels.  The joint venture will be controlled by ETH, and Amyris will have exclusive marketing rights for the Biofene produced at the facility.
