Biofuels Digest Index edges up to 71.99 as oil stocks advance

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged up 0.35 percent to 71.99 as oil stocks advanced. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) rose 1.28 percent to $27.77, while Valero (VLO) jumped 2.41 percent to $23.38. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) plummeted 6.03 percent to $7.48. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 1 for the day.
