Biofuels Digest Index slips to 78.64 on profit-taking after big week

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, slipped 0.33 percent to 78.64 on profit-taking following a strong week for equities. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) gained 1.30 percent to $30.34, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) soared 52.00 percent to $0.38. Among other equities, Syntroleum (SYNM) fell 5.49 percent to $0.86. Overall, advances led declines 3 to 2 for the day.
