Biofuels Digest Index falls to 74.05 depite ethanol gains

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, fell 0.80 percent to 74.05 despite traction on Solazyme and Biofuel Energy. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) dropped 1.09 percent to $29.05, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) rocketed up another 15.38 percent to $0.60. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) soared 6.79 percent to $9.91. Overall, declines led advances 10 to 3 for the day.
