Biofuels Digest Index recovers to 74.29 as ethanol soars

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 0.62 percent to 74.29 as ethanol soared. For the day, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) fell 0.47 percent to $29.64, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) soared another 31.68 percent to $1.33.  Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) jumped 41.67 percent to $0.85. Overall, advances led declines 7 to 5 for the day.
