CORE BioFuel completes wood-to-gasoline test runs

In Canada, CORE BioFuel has finalized the last testing steps required for its wood-to-gasoline MKS Gasoline Synthesis Process under contract with RECAT Technologies who completed a set of test runs of the catalytic reaction producing gasoline from dimethyl ether. The company says the tests show the MKS process to produce superior gasoline to ExxonMobil’s commercial MTG (methanol-to-gasoline) process.
