Springboard, Pinnacle Capital partner for low-cost campus biodiesel

January 6, 2012 |

In California, Springboard Biodiesel and Pinnacle Capital announced a new and innovative financing program designed to help U.S. educational institutions — public and private — establish small-scale biodiesel production programs on their campuses.

Springboard Biodiesel CEO Mark Roberts reports 59 colleges and universities using their equipment to convert used cooking oil into biodiesel.  Roberts further states that as their system can produce biodiesel at less than $1.00/gal, school systems that feed their students can save money.
