Biofuels Digest Index jumps to 72.33 on broad renewables gain

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, jumped to 72.33 in a broad gain across all biofuels sectors. For the day, BP rose 0.72 percent to $44.56, while Rentech (RTK) upped 5.52 percent to $1.53. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) gained 4.44 percent to $6.35. Overall, advances led declines 11 to 1for the day.
