Biofuels Digest Index drops sharply to 70.26 as global equities struggle

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, plunged 2.61 percent to 70.26 as global equities sagged.  For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) tumbled 3.38 percent to $12.02, while KiOR (KIOR) rebounded 11.24 percent to $8.51 Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) shed 6.28 percent to $3.58. Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
