Biofuels Digest Index rebounds to 73.09 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, rebounded 0.40 percent to 73.09 as Solazyme (SZYM) soared. For the day, Aventine (AVRW) plunged 10.91 percent to $4.00, while Solazyme (SZYM) rocketed up 7.12 percent to $13.85.  Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) soared 8.28 percent to $5.49.  Overall, declines led advances 7 to 5 for the day.
