Clark says power of ethanol lies in its grassroots supporters

March 26, 2012 |

In Illinois, former NATO Supreme Commander Wesley K. Clark expressed sentiments that the grassroots nature of the ethanol movement gives it power at a presentation to a gathering of Patriot Renewable Fuels shareholders. He also indicated the importance of both individuals and businesses demanding ethanol options in decreasing our dependence on foreign influences.

Said Clark, “Big oil has a lot of big money. We don’t have that kind of money in the ethanol movement, but we’ve got to make sure our voices are heard.”
