March 29, 2012 |

In Montana, the state’s Department of Environmental Quality has granted an air quality permit to Montana Advanced Biofuels for its proposed wheat-based ethanol plant on the side east of Great Falls. The city’s development agency will begin working on water access for the facility next week. Construction on the $400 million facility, which will take 18 months, could start as early as June if a federal loan guarantee comes through.
