UK’s Vivergo wheat ethanol project starts accepting wheat deliveries

In the UK, Vivergo has received its first wheat shipment as part of the plant’s initial start up phase, part of the 1,200 metric tons of wheat it expects to get a hold of during its first two weeks of operations. The facility based in Hull is expected to use 1.1 million tons of wheat, equal to about 7% of the country’s total annual wheat production.
