Biofuels Digest Index flat at 70.48 despite ethanol dive

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, was flat at 70.48, up 0.04 percent as ethanol took a dive.  For the day, Amyris (AMRS) fell 3.88 percent to $3.22,  while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) tumbled 11.51 percent to $7.92.  Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) regained 1.90 percent to $11.24.  Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
