Voting Opens for 40 Hottest Partners in Bioenergy and Bio-based Products rankings

Building your value chain, or supply chain? In the bio-based world, that means partners, and plenty of them. But who are the best?

Behind the 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy, and the 30 Hottest Companies in Renewable Chemicals & Materials, there are a lot of partners adding value and driving down costs. For quite some time, we’ve been recognizing hot companies, but never doing enough to recognize the partners that make bio-based companies strong and enduring.

That’s what the 40 Hottest Partners in Bioenergy and Bio-based Products rankings are all about.

Today, voting opens for the 40 Hottest Partners in Bioenergy and Bio-based Products, and continues through June 8, 2012. Voting is open to all Digest subscribers, and voting links are available each day in the Biofuels Digest daily e-newsletter.

As with all Digest rankings, 50 percent of votes will come from subscribers, and 50 percent from our distinguished panel of international selectors.

But the Hot 40 is more than just a single list. By popular demand, with this set of rankings, we are introducing Categories for the first time. Not only can a company become, for example, #1 in the overall Hot 40 Partners, but could be #1 in Feedstock Partners, or #1 in Lab Services. Categories include Distributors & marketers, Engineering, Procurement & Construction, Enzymes & Sugars, feedstocks, financing, lab services, R&D, pre-treatment, professional services, processing systems, strategic customers, and more.

Over the past month, Digest readers have nominated more than 170 companies – and you can write-in your favorites if you omitted to nominate one. Throughout the month, we’ll be adding links and data to help you through the consideration process.
