India to invest in Ghana’s sugar industry

In Ghana, India will be investing to reactivate the Komenda Sugar factory, which collapsed in 1983. The move comes after nearly three years of negotiation between the countries as Ghana hopes to revamp its sugarcane industry to enter into the renewable energy market. The investment will come from the Minister of Trade and Industry in India.
