Biofuels Digest Index rises to 64.77 on advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, gained 1.57 percent to 64.77 on another advanced biofuels surge.  For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) rose 4.37 percent to $12.90, while Valero (VLO) boomed 5.69 percent to $23.03.  Among other equities, KiOR (KIOR) jumped 7.41 percent to $8.26.  Overall, advances led declines 6 to 1 for the day.
