Coconut can support B5 biodiesel in Philippines, marketers say

In the Philippines, the country’s coconut marketing agency says that current coconut oil production is enough to supply a B5 blend nationwide. Coconut-based biodiesel, CME, is currently blended at 2%. The country is aiming for a 20% CME blend for 2030 but the industry is pushing for investment in higher yielding varieties now.
