Biofuels Digest Index tumbles to 64.48 as advanced biofuels equities slide

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.30 percent to 64.48 as advanced biofuels stocks tumbled. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) slumped 7.38 percent to $4.52, while KiOR (KIOR) dropped 6.03 percent to $9.35. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) shed 10.45 percent to $12.70.  Overall, declines led advances 7 to 6 for the day.
