Biofuels Digest Index drops to 62.88 as KIOR slumps

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, dropped 1.19 percent to 62.88 as advanced biofuels stocks tumbled. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) lost 1.77 percent to $4.44, while KiOR (KIOR) dropped 6.52 percent to $8.74. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) recovered 0.55 percent to $12.77.  Overall, declines led advances 5 to 1 for the day.
