Biofuels Digest Index rallies to 62.49 as advanced biofuels surge

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, recovered 1.28 percent to 62.49 as advanced biofuels stocks surged. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) jumped 9.67 percent to $3.29, while Solazyme (SZYM) jumped 7.64 percent to $13.39. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) retreated 3.36 percent to $3.74.  Overall, advances led declines 8 to 3 for the day.
