Biofuels Digest Index drops to 62.29 as ethanol wanes

The Biofuels Digest Index™ (BDI), a basket of public biofuels stocks, edged down 0.64 percent to 62.29 as ethanol waned. For the day, OriginOil (OOIL) jumped 23.76 percent on news from its oil and gas division, while Renewable Energy Group (REGI) fell 9.15 percent to $7.25. Among other equities, Biofuels Energy (BIOF) dumped 8.78 percent to $2.70. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 5 for the day.
