BDI receives €16.4m grant for biodiesel plant

In France, BDI has received a 16.4 million Euro grant commission from Intermarche subsidiary ecoMotion France to build its biodiesel plant in Le Havre. The plant has an expected output of 75,000 metric tons per annum, and will be sold at the fuel stations run by Intermarche, a French supermarket. The feedstocks will include waste products such as animal fats and used cooking oils.
